Application Fee Volunteer Nepal charges a one-time processing fee of $35.00 to be paid at the time of the application. This covers the staff expense for the many letters that are sure to be exchanged with the volunteer, and the volunteer “Key Word and Phrase” advance mailing. When you submit your application you will likewise submit through the PayPal link below your fee. If you have any trouble with the link, or if you prefer to not use PayPal, you may submit your fee by check to:

About the Program Fees The volunteers’ fees are used to pay the support staff, accommodations during training, your host family or other arranged accommodations during your placement, transportation to and from the airport, language and cultural classes and trips to heritage sights during your training period, all your meals, which will be traditional Nepalese, and transportation to and from your placement, usually in the company of staff.
The program fees further support:
Papa’s Samanjasya (Harmony) House orphanage in Dhapasi with 46 Girls
Papa’s Kalpana (Imagine) House orphanage in Dhapasi with 26 Girls
Papa’s Sambhav (Possibilities) House orphanage in Dhapasi with 25 Boys
Papa’s Lawajuni (New Beginnings) House orphanage in Narti with 50 girls
The Shree Mudkeswori Primary School (40 students) in a remote area of Ramechhap
The Shree Sham Primary School (140 students) in an even more remote area of Ramechhap
Hot lunch programs at both the above schools
A remote village renewable energy cooperative started and sustained by Nepal Orphans Home Inc.
Visa fees are $100.00 for a “volunteer visa” good for the first two months and then renewable at $30.00 per month after that.
Nepal Orphans Home Inc. is the recipient of all placement and application fees and is a registered non-profit organization in Davidson, North Carolina.
